Marina and Hermit Take on the Tide, 2026 (Concept)
After a series of king tides, Hermit is stranded, lost and alone in an upterned shell. As he awaits rescue, Marina–a little girl exploring Monterey’s tide pools–finds him, and helps him get back home. Over the course of their journey together, Hermit teaches Marina about his neighbors–the creatures that share his tidepool–and the importance of marine conservation.
Design
Final design (left), Initial submission (right)
The initial design was too dark in color and didn’t center the brand/logo. Client requested visuals to be more cheerful and Fall/Winter holiday aligned.

Project: Company Holiday Cards
Responsibilities: Art direction, illustration
Early Sketches
In the fall of 2025, I was commissioned to illustrate company holiday cards for Bond Pavement Solutions; the objective of these cards was to remind pre-existing clients of their relationship with the company, and to equate the company’s brand to the warmth and coziness inherent to fall. The illustration on the left was the first submission to the company; after a few rounds of feedback, the illustration on the right was received and sent out as the official holiday card.
